The MTV Video Music Awards is an award show with awards presented by the cable channel MTV to honor the best in the music video medium. Alessia Cara has won two awards out of eight nominations.
At the 2016 show, Alessia performed “Wild Things”, “Wild”with Troye Sivan, and “Scars To Your Beautiful”. At the 2017 awards, she performed “Scars To Your Beautiful” and “1-800-273-8255” with Logic and Khalid.
