"Four Pink Walls" is the fifth track from Alessia Cara's EP, Four Pink Walls along with her debut studio album, Know-It-All. It was released on August 26, 2015 through Def Jam Recordings and Universal Music Group.
Background[]
Cara came up with the idea of the song at the beginning of her career, inspired by her rising popularity. The rest of the song was written during a drive to a surprise party Cara thought was a studio session.

The official visual was released on August 27, 2015. The video features Alessia singing along to the song in her bedroom in various outfits.
Trivia[]
- Cara wrote this song on her ukelele and said it sounded like a “weird, cheesy, rap, whatever, thing”.
- The bedroom walls were pink because her father refused to buy new paint and mixed a strange red colour with some white paint.
- The lyric, “Shut my eyes and let the bass buzz into my brain” was inspired by the fact that she used to sneak her iPod nano into bed with her at night.
